In partnership with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, our new diabetes discussion group aims to give people the education and skills needed to manage diabetes and live an active and healthy lifestyle.
Meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Upcoming topics are: January 11th – Making Healthy Choices/Role of the Pancreas;
February 8th – Questions About Diabetes/Increasing Physical Activity;
March 8th – Healthy Coping and Support
April 12th – AIC Basics & Healthy Choices at Social Gatherings
May 10th – Physical Activity in the Heat & Healthy Choices Part II
June 14th – Hyper/Hypoglycemia Management & Making Friends with Fruit
