Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

Narcotics Anonymous describes itself as a “nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem”.  NA uses a traditional 12-step model that has been expanded and developed for people with varied substance abuse issues and is the second-largest 12-step organization. Meetings are open.

Excellence through Education

Provide academic and financial resources and learning opportunities to African-American and minority students and families. Their aim is to decrease the number of African-American and minority students who drop out of school; to increase the number of positive role models for African-American and minority students; to support and motivate African-American and minority students by recognizing and celebrating their achievements, progress, and successes.

Meeting Time:

4:00pm – 6:00pm Every 2nd Tuesday.

Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.

National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Pi Chapter is a sorority of teachers/educators working together to uplift and support the dedicated educators: classroom teachers, counselors, school nurses, supervisors, principals, directors, assistant superintendents and superintendents, other educators within our public, charter, and private schools serving all levels from pre-school through higher education. Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Pi Chapter supports young people in grades 9-12 –students from Hamilton Schools, Trenton Schools and surrounding districts.  For 25 years, Pi Chapter has facilitated classes and assisted aspiring educators to pass the Praxis exam and become certified educators.  National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Pi Chapter offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to major in education/enter the field of teaching.

These classes have been held in partnership with the John O. Wilson Hamilton Neighborhood Center, Inc., since 1977.  Educators who are interested in our educational programs and/or membership, may contact the center for more information.

6:00pm – 9:00pm Mondays; 9:30am – 3:00pm 2nd or 3rd Saturdays of every month.
